Who We Are

Some serve by choice. Some serve by draft.

But all who serve dedicate their mind, body and soul, and unfortunately at times even their life, to protecting others, to fighting for their land, their people and their freedoms. Soldiers Share is an anthology written by soldiers or about soldiers, the lessons they learned, the strength and resilience they displayed, the heroes they were and encountered and the message they have for us all.

The LifeWrite Project is all about people and their expressions during the common experience of a global pandemic.

LifeWrite.org is the non-profit initiative of Opyrus.com, a self-betterment platform to encourage everyone to find the writer within. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Soldiers Share will be donated to an organization that helps Veterans.

We are looking for essays or poems (1000 word max) from those currently serving, veterans, or friends and family of soldiers about their experience. Here are the categories we are looking for:

  • Heroes
  • Loss
  • Injury & Recovery
  • Coming Home
  • Life Lessons
  • Team Work
  • Friends and Family
  • Serving During Covid
  • Other
